Thermal Imaging

Thermal Imaging, or Thermography, is the use of an infrared camera to produce temperature calibrated infrared or heat pictures. Based on these thermal images, analysis by our team of experts will detect the smallest temperature differences which can indicate anomalies and “hot spots” often invisible to the naked eye.

Our experience has shown that equipment and switchboards do not fail quickly or without warning. They fail over time and generate heat through infrared radiation that can be detected through a Thermal Imaging Program.

Using the latest in Thermal Imaging technology, our technicians will thermally image your switchboards and equipment under load allowing for corrective action to be taken before costly system failures occur.

We like to think Thermal Imaging as “Preventative Maintenance in a Snap”.

Businesses often get thermal imaging completed to check for potential faults before they become a problem. Thermal imaging cameras check the heat that is running through your cabling and equipment is balanced and of an acceptable level. Unbalanced loads across three phase circuitry can also be diagnosed and therefore rectified. If there is too much heat running through the equipment and cabling being tested this can cause a fire & result in significant damage to property, personnel and result in lack of productivity.
